thaBloc.com is the web-site companion for the book "thaBloc" by photographer/poet t.p. Luce. thaBloc is one man's journey into his own evolving neighborhood and into the lives of his neighbors. On the way, traveling past pop culture mythology, stereotypes, pre-conceived notions, nonsense and bullshit to get there, some pretty interesting things happened. He was able to get behind that painted curtain that our cultural provenders hold up every time someone from thaBloc starts talking, where he saw them, almost like refugees in some parallel universe. There he held out his hand and they let him in and with careful ear, eye and pen thaBloc was born to give shape and definition to the invisible.
